The Holiday Season is quickly approaching us. It’s this time of year where you want a little extra money but you don’t wnat to worry about touching your savings or the credit cards. You’ve thought about a second job, but at the same time, you want to be home with the kids after work and spend quality time with your spouse. Besides that, you’re tired enough from your 10 hour job. So you think to yourself, I need to find a way to make money, but I don’t want a second JOB. What about a home business?. It has to be something that isn’t going to require too much of my time in the afternoons or on the weekends, but will still bring a decent amount of extra money.

So what are your options? How do you go about securing a home business without taking time away from your family? Well in the beginning, you will find that you are searching to find the right home business for yourself. You aren’t going to take whatever you come across. You need to find ideas for a home business that are going to one, be something you can do comfortably without a whole lot of extensive training and two is going to provide the flexibility that you are looking for.

Now you can do this alone and start up a home business or you can partner with a company that offers you the ability to make money from a home business working with them. Sometimes you can sign on with these companies for free, other times you may be requested to provide a small investment into the company and the product. If you go this route make sure you believe in the product you are selling.

It will make a difference in how well your business does. You are going to want something that takes minimal maintenance. When you join up with a company, they tend to do all the hard work long before you come aboard. They will take care of things like marketing, target market, updating software, getting new software along with company and product updates. Generally this is the reason for the initial investment. It covers all the things that would be overhead for you as a private business owner.

There are so many other points that I could share and more ideas for a home business but we’d be here a very long time. Whichever way you decide to make money from a home business, remember to be thoughtful and patient in your decisions. Don’t rush into any thing; take your time to make good decisions. This will only stand to help you in the long run.

Network Marketing is one of THE most viable ways to get products from the manufacturer to the consumer. Instead of paying the “middle men” such as the advertising team, the warehouse, the transporters, and finally the retail outlets, the products go directly from the manufacturer to the consumer.

The difference between the two is that the “networkers” BECOME the advertising budget and can be paid very well indeed. The job of the networker is to introduce people to the products that are not advertised through the media. The networker outlines the benefits to the potential customer for taking these products. For the purpose of this article, products can refer to nutritional products such as weight loss, liquid nutrition, whole foods, services such as internet capture pages, domains, web designs; wireless services; greeting cards and training materials or sites..

Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous people on the internet who profess all sorts of ridiculous ways to earn money, and even worse, tell you with NO effort, NO advertising, and NO sponsoring, you can make a gazillion dollars. That’s all poppycock!

A really heart warming story

I received this as an email story.  I found it very touching, especially when a co-worker of mine’s wife suffered serious injuries from a car accident two weeks ago.

Enjoy this story.

I was walking around in a Wall Mart when I noticed a Cashier returning
some money to a little boy.The boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years
old.

The Cashier said, ‘I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy
this doll.’

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him:
”Granny, are you sure I don’t have enough money?’

‘The old lady replied:
”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.”
Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look
around. She left quickly.The little boy was still holding the doll in his
hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give
this doll to.

‘It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much
for Christmas.She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.

‘I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and
not to worry. But he replied to me sadly.

‘No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. ‘His eyes were so sad while
saying this.   ‘My Sister has gone to be with God.  Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.” My heart nearly stopped.The little boy looked up at me and said: ‘I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.

‘Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ‘I want mommy to take  my picture with her so she won’t forget me.’ ‘I love my mommy and I wish she
didn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.’Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ‘Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll!”’OK’ he said, ‘I hope I do have enough.’ I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and
even some spare money.

The little boy said: ‘Thank you God for giving me enough money!’Then he looked at me and added, ‘I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!” ‘I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.”’My mommy loves white roses.’

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started.I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind.Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.The little girl died right away, and the mother  was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.Was this the family of the little boy?  Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn’t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was
for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of
the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister isstill, to this day, hard to imagine.And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all  this away from him.

Please during this holiday season, don’t drink and drive! I had the priviledge to meet the woman who started MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.  This organization has spread throughout North America.  You see, she had lost her daughter to a drunk driver. From her pain, she started the MADD campaign.

Vehicles are lethal weapons.  So many tend to forget that and get behind the wheel. Don’t let your friends get behind the wheel drunk either.

Prayers needed

hello to anyone who is visiting.

A wife of one of my team members was in a serious car crash on Saturday.  A transport truck hit her, drove her into the median of the I40.  She was catapulted into the back seat of her car.  Her jaw was broken, making her look like she had 3 jaws, and her back broken.

The surgery to repair the jaw went well.  It will be wired shut for 3 weeks. She is in a body halo for her back.

For those of you who believe in the power of prayer, please say a prayer for Martha.

Deepak Chopra, who is a medical doctor as well as a spiritualist, says that they can have two patients with the same ailments, given the same drugs, but one will get better, and one will not.  What is the difference.?  Prayer.  Belief in having the will to get better. Belief in a power greater than ourselves.

I have another friend who was in an accident and still suffers a great deal of pain. Please pray for him too. His name is Rick.

Why Liquid Nutrition?

In an article I wrote, I explained about the lack of absorption of supplements that are in caplet or tablet form. Below is my reasons for choosing liquid nutrition over other forms.

Since I learned about the lack of absorption of nutrients from caplets/tablets, I searched for an alternative source of supplementation. Here is what I discovered.

What are the BENEFITS to taking liquid nutrition over caplets/tablets?

Liquids are renowned for their optimal and faster assimilation. 2 – The drink must have high integrity, one that is not thinned down with other juices, such as apple juice, grape juice or any other juices nor have added sugar in the various forms.
